Three weeks of shipping, one theme: give you better tools to build, schedule, and manage training — whether it's for one client or twenty. Here's what's new.
Redesigned workout builder
The workout builder got a complete redesign with a 3-column layout. Browse and search your exercise library on the left, build your workout in the center, and manage workout details and AI generation on the right — all without leaving the page.
Drag and drop exercises from the library straight into your workout, then reorder them however you want. Edit sets, reps, tempo, rest, and duration inline — no popups, no extra clicks. The builder shows your estimated workout duration in real time as you add and adjust exercises.
AI generation is built right in. Describe what you need — "push day for an intermediate client, 45 minutes, dumbbells only" — and get a full workout generated in seconds. You can also ask it to refine or add to your current workout. Pick from example prompts or write your own.
Custom exercises now support exercise-specific instructions, so you can attach coaching cues or setup notes that show up alongside the exercise details.
Client schedule calendar
Every client now has a Schedule tab with a full calendar — switch between week and month views to see all scheduled workouts at a glance.
In week view, each workout card shows the duration, exercise list, and group badge so you can scan a client's week without opening anything. Month view gives you the bigger picture across the full training block. Click any date in month view to jump into the week.
Drag and drop to reschedule. Move a workout to a different day by dragging it across the calendar. Click any workout to view, edit, share, or unassign it right from a popover menu. Click an empty day to create a new workout, assign from a template, or add the client to a group workout — all with the date pre-filled.
Group workouts and programs
You can now create group workouts and programs and assign multiple clients to them. When you edit a group workout, every client assigned to it sees the updated version. Edit once, update for all.
This is ideal for group training, team sessions, or any scenario where multiple clients follow the same programming. Individual workouts still work exactly as before — this just gives you a faster option when the training is shared.
1RM Calculator
We added a free one-rep max calculator to the site. Plug in a weight and rep count, get estimated maxes across common formulas. No sign-up required — just a quick tool for you or your clients.
Better on every screen
The entire app now feels faster and more spacious. We tightened up the interface so you see more of what matters — more clients, more workouts, less chrome.
Manage clients on the go. The layout adapts to your screen, whether you're on a phone between sessions or at your laptop planning the week. Creating clients and exercises now happens in quick modals instead of separate pages, so you stay in your workflow.
Cleaner navigation. The header and filters take up less room, giving your content more space to breathe — especially on laptops and tablets.
What's next
We're working on a redesigned program builder with a proper calendar-based layout for multi-week programming. This is our top priority and will make building periodized programs significantly easier.
We're also exploring a free plan to make it easier for new trainers to get started with Athlemove. More details on that soon.
Beyond that, client check-ins — custom forms you can send to clients to collect feedback, progress updates, or readiness data — and file management for things like custom exercise images and client documents are both on the roadmap.
If there's something you'd like to see, we'd love to hear from you.
